About Words of Isa

Words of Isa is a 501c3 nonprofit organization. All funds donated are used according to the fixed annual budget and under the oversight of the Board of Directors. Our name is taken from the name most often used by Muslims to refer to Jesus (Isa).

Words of Isa operates under the spiritual authority of Bay Area Community Church in Annapolis, Maryland. They are the “sending Church” according to Biblical teaching. The Elders are the final arbiters of questions about doctrinal and spiritual matters. 

Words of Isa is supported by Churches of different denominations, as well as individual donors. We partner together to share the words of Jesus and his love with one of the most unreached areas of the world. All of our partners participate as they are able in financial giving, prayer, fasting, providing materials, and sending seasonal workers to the field. The Words of Isa ministry is not based on denomination, but is an outreach of the body of Christ. We begin with the simple message that Jesus has bought his followers into the kingdom of God with his own blood.
